Announcing Two 2009 IAIE Counselor Scholarships
A donator to the International Alliance for Invitational Education® has requested the establishment of two Counselor Scholarships in the amount of $250 each. Recipients will use these two scholarships to defray costs of attending the 2009 IAIE World Conference in Rochester, NY, October 1-3. Scholarship recipients will be named by a selection committee consisting of three IAIE members appointed by the donator. The scholarships will be presented at the conference. IAIE members that are active or retired counselors are eligible to apply for one of the two scholarships. Other qualifications are:
1. Be a licensed or certified counselor or counselor educator in a school, university, agency, or private practice setting (or be retired and have held a license, certification, or other counseling credential during your career).
2. Be a current IAIE member in good status for at least two years.
3. Register for and attend the 2009 IAIE World Conference.
4. Submit a brief statement of how invitational theory and practice have influenced your professional development, practice, or research as a counselor or counselor educator. Indicate any leadership positions you hold or have held in IAIE.
5. Submit completed application to the selection committee by July 15, 2009.
