Call for Proposals for Presentations and Papers

Session Types

You are cordially summoned to present a proposal for a break-out session that will explore an area of interest related to the conference theme Successful Schools: Global and Personal Perspectives and be of interest to conference attendees. Presentations typically illuminate the nuances of implementing invitational practice in a variety of environments. You may propose 1) a demonstration or working session in which attendees share practice strategies related to the presentation topic or 2) a session in which you present a scholarly paper. Session Length

Papers and presentations are scheduled for 50 minutes and may include more than one presenter. Presenters will be introduced by conference hosts. Feel free to include your own facilitator and/or critic.

Proposal Timeline

We will accept proposal submissions until April 5, 2010.

Committee Review

Reviews of the submitted proposals will be ongoing by the program committee, and you will be notified as soon as the committee reaches its decision. If your proposal is accepted, you will receive additional information about the presentation schedule.

Submission

You may send your proposal by email attachment (preferred) or by mail. Please submit documents in Microsoft Word (.doc) format. If you submit by email, please include “IAIE Conference Proposal” in the subject line. Receipt of your proposal will be acknowledged by the program committee within two weeks.
