Stan Taylor is a retired school administrator from East Muskingum Schools in southeast Ohio. He served in various capacities for the district over a 35 year period. He retired as assistant superintendent.
As an administrator, he was responsible for many of the district’s programs including buildings/grounds, technology, transportation, and food service. He oversaw various building projects in the district including the district’s 28 million dollar construction project. He also led several district wide staff/community meetings in the planning and implementation of the building construction/renovation for the district. In addition, he served as technology director for 20 years and was instrumental in developing a district wide technology network, which provided internet connection, and communication network.
As an adjunct professor at Muskingum College for the undergraduate and graduate departments, he taught technology related courses for aspiring principals and education students.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren. He and his wife of 45 years enjoy traveling around the country and have traveled to New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, England, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria over the years.
Currently, Stan spends time working part-time for an architect as a consultant on rehab projects and serves on the board of the Habitat for Humanity of Southeast Ohio.
